Socialization Across Childhood

One of my favorite classes this semester has been Socialization Across Childhood. 

We have learned about almost every aspect of a child's life that affects their development. 

For the class we were to write a research paper discussing one aspect we found interesting and then from that write a lay audience paper (basically rewriting that research into layman's terms). 

Here are my papers. 

First my official research paper.

Second my rewritten paper as it would appear as an article in a parenting magazine. 

And as a preface, although research supports my argument, I don't necessarily agree.
